Information we will collect (for insurance purposes)

Amwins Global Risks as a (re)insurance broker will collect and use relevant information from clients or third parties about you, insured persons or beneficiaries to provide the insurance cover you require and to meet any legal obligations.

This information includes details such as names, addresses and contact details and any other personal information that we collect in connection with placing your insurance cover. We will only disclose your personal information in connection with the (re)insurance cover that we look to place with (re)insurers.

This may include sensitive information such as: physical or mental health; or a criminal record. You do not need to supply this information unless it is explicitly required. We will only use sensitive data for the purposes of providing insurance cover.

In order to effect insurance cover your information may be shared with, and used by, a number of third parties in the insurance sector for example, (re)insurers, agents or brokers, loss adjusters, sub-contractors, regulators, law enforcement agencies, fraud and crime prevention and detection agencies and compulsory insurance databases.

When using the public parts of our website you are not required to provide us with any personal information, except when you expressly submit such information, for example to send a job application form to us.
