Formed in April 2007, THB Global Risks is spearheading THB's expansion into the international market.The team's particular expertise is in the global property, energy and casualty arena, where we are able to offer full programme design and execution services for a diverse range of clients. This includes provision of specialist products, individual risk or portfolio solutions (e.g. facilities or schemes) for original insureds of any size, including those in the Fortune 2000 segment.
We focus on providing the best service and a tailor-made insurance and/or reinsurance solution based around the client's coverage preferences. We seek to achieve the most innovative and cost effective solution from the most appropriate market, irrespective of the size of risk or business segment.
Achieving the optimal solution often hinges on working with locally based brokers, agents and insurance companies when designing programmes and securing capacity. Where we deal with intermediaries our strategy is to treat them as our client, our role being to partner with them to achieve their client's objectives.
Due to the team's creative skills, market knowledge and technical expertise, we have often achieved significant successes for clients with unusual risks or exposures, or where using the market in a conventional fashion presents difficulty in terms of coverage or capacity.
